Toledo
¡Durante la semana del 21 al 26 de noviembre fuimos a Toledo para la formación de llegada!
Ser voluntarias significa ser parte de una estructura grande y bien organizada. En la aventura personal de l@s voluntari@s están algunos pasos obligatorios que les hacen ver que son partes de esta estructura e indispensables. Lo primero es la formación de llegada, organizada a nivel nacional, esto permite a tod@s l@s voluntari@s llegad@s al mismo tiempo poder encontrarse, compartir las primeras experiencias en el país de acogida, compartir los temores y las expectativas.
Para nosotras fue la primera oportunidad para poder salir juntas de Alburquerque, ver paisajes y animales raros. Compartimos entre nosotras los descubrimientos y los nervios de llegar a Toledo por la noche, después de un viaje de once horas, fue una conquista.
Durante la semana trabajamos sobre el significado de ser volutari@s europe@s, en el aprendizaje tanto formal como informal, los derechos y los deberes que tenemos y mucho más.
Al final de este primer paso pudimos conseguir diferentes herramientas para disfrutar mejor esta experiencia y una red de amig@s voluntari@s en toda España.
Being a voluteer means to have a part in a huge and well-organised structure. In the personal adveture of the voluteers there are required steps that let them feel as a part of the structure. The first one is the on-arrival training, organized on a national level , which gave a chance to all the arrived volunteers to take their time to get to know each other,share the first experiences in the welcoming counrty,share the fears and expectations.
It was the first opportunity for us to leave Alburquerque together, to see new places and animals that we never seen for real before.We shared our discoveries and excitement on the way. Arriving to Toledo at night after 11 hours of travel felt like a victory.
During the week we were working on what it means to be a European Volunteer, the rights and obligatories that we have and much more, by using formal and informal learning as well .
Finally we got to know different ways and tools to enjoy and to be able to take more advantage of this experience and great network of all the voluteers of Spain who were there in Toledo so that we can keep in touch this way.
