Conociendo el Centro Ocupacional Los Baldíos de Alburquerque.
El miercoles 9 de febrero fuimos a “Los Baldíos” que es el Centro Ocupacional y residencia de mayores de Alburquerque.
Sara Pilo, una de sus educadoras, nos ha enseñado la estructura y nos ha explicado como se trabaja en el Centro.
Aprovechando nuestra visita, hemos visto junto a l@s usuari@s, el video del Projecto Objectiva del año pasao que fue desarollado por el Colectivo Cala junto a Francesca, voluntaria italiana que estaba realizando el Servicio de Voluntariado europeo, como lo que estamos haciendo nosotras aquí.
Comprobamos, que todo el mundo estaba muy satisfecho con el trabajo realizado y nosotras estamos feliz de poder juntarnos y formar parte de este equipo.
Muchas gracias por la hospidalidad y a Sara, que se va de voluntaria a Italia, aprovechamos para desearle una muy buena experiencia, tanto como la nuestra.
On Wednesday, 9 February we went to "Los Badldíos" which is the Occupational Centre and Residance of the Eldery of Alburquerque.
Sara Pilo, one of the educators showed us the structure and explained us how she works in the Centre.
To make the most of our visit we watched together with the people who work there the video of the Projecto Objectiva of the last year. It was developed by Collectivo Cala together with Francesca the italian voluteer who was spending the European Valuntary Service here, the way we do. We noticed that everybody was satisfied with thelast year's job and we were happy to join this community of Cala.
We are thankful for the hospitality and to Sara, who is going to be a volunteer in Italy. Have a good time Sara!
