Tercer encuentro del curso de Igualdad / Third session of course about Equality
El viernes 3 de Marzo salimos para ir al tercer encuentro del curso que, como sabéis, la Oficina de Igualdad y Violencia de Género de la Mancomunidad Lácara los Baldíos está realizando con su agente de Igualdad Alfonso Pérez en la Escuela Profesional de Alburquerque.
Como la vez anterior estuvimos trabajando sobre los mensajes subliminales Alfonso nos ha traído cuatro herramientas para analizar películas y detectar cuales son machista y cuales no.
Las herramientas son las siguientes:

Test de Ellen-Willis.

Después hemos trabajado el tema del “micro-machismo” que es una palabra para definir todas las actitudes que parecen inofensivas y a menudo pasan desapercibidos pero son esenciales a la construcción y al reforzamiento de las características del papel de hombres y de mujeres en la sociedad.
Hemos empezado a hablar de violencia; de la diferencia entre piropos y acoso y al final, para cerrar con un mensaje de esperanza, hemos visto un vídeo que propone una tercera opción entre el no contestar a la violencia verbal y el contestar con violencia, la opción que nos proponen las Hijas de violencia” y que nosotras compartimos con vosotras: “Confeti Punk”

On Friday 3 of March we went, as usual on Friday, at the course about Iquality. That is coordinated by Alfonso Pérez agent of the “Oficina de Igualdad y Violecia de Género de la Mancomunidad Lácara los Baldíos” and take place in the “Escuela profesional” of Alburquerque. It was the third meeting.
Inasmuch as the last time we was working on the influence of subliminal messages, this time Alfonso shared with us four instruments to analyze movies. These instruments are usefull to distinguish between machist movies and not machist ones.

Finaly we worked on “micro-machismo” that is a word that indicates all the behaviors that seem harmless enough to pass as unnoticed but, if we look them better, these are essential to the construction and to the strengthening of the special features about the role of men and women in society.
We started to talk about the topic of violence reflecting about the difference between appreciation and harassment. At the end, to close the session with hopeful message, we saw a video that offers us a third way, in front of verbal violence, instead of choosing between not replying or replying with violence. This solution is showed us by “Hijas de Violencia” (daughters of violence) and we are glad to share it with you: “Confetti guns”.
