Comunidad de Paz de San José de Apartadó
El jueves, 9 de Marzo tuvimos la posibilidad de estar en una Conferencia sobre el hermanamiento entre Alburquerque y una comunidad en Colombia.
Alburquerque tiene un hermanamiento con la Comunidad de Paz de San José de Apartadó. Esta Comunidad cumple 20 años en este mes. En honor a esa ocasión, personas cercanas a la situación que están viviendo organizaron una conferecia en Alburquerque. Los participentes eran Angel Valdillo, el alcalde de Alburquerque, Maripaz Vergel tecnica en proyectos, y Gloria Sosa, miembro del Collectivo Cala. Hablaban sobre el proyecto que tienen con esta corporación, la situación de ese pueblo y Gloria Sosa hizo una presentación sobre su historia y la forma en que la gente está viviendo, trabajando y aprendiendo allí.
Fue útil e interesante conocer esta comunidad y también que Alburquerque tiene una "relación" como esta. Estamos agradecidos de haber visto esta conferencia.

On Thursday, 9 March we had the chance too see a conference about the union between Alburquerque and a community in Colombia.
Alburquerque has a association twinning with Comunidad de Paz de San José de Apartadó (The Peace Community San José de Apartado). This community celebrated its 20th birthday this month. In honour of this occasion, a conferance was organised in Alburquerque with the participation of the mayor of Alburquerque, Angel Vadillo,Maripaz Vergel project technician, and Gloria Sosa ,member of Collectivo Cala. They were talking about the project that they have with this corporation, the situation of it and Gloria Sosa made a presentation about its history and the way the people are living, working and learning there.
It was useful and interesting to get to know about this community and also that Alburquerque has a "relationship" like this. We are greatful to have seen this conference.
